Terry Brown believes in supporting student success in a variety of different ways, in order to meet all students鈥� unique needs. He is a strong advocate for education in the skilled trades and believes in the important role of the trades in supporting communities and providing meaningful careers for youth.聽
About Terry Brown
Terry has 33 years of experience in the field of education in one capacity or another! He is a retired educator 鈥� his teaching career began in September 1989 and lasted until his retirement in June 2018. He taught at Cobourg District Collegiate Institute East, Cobourg Collegiate Institute and Brookside Secondary School.
Terry was first elected to the Board Trustees in November 2018. In his role as Trustee, Terry advocates for the success of all students. He is particularly passionate about:
- Skilled Trades Education
- Acting as an advocate for parents and students
- Advocating for fiscally responsible budgets, and
- Advocating for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion issues.
